This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?

Please don't feel pressure to have everything perfectly "posed" or for your children to be on their absolute best behavior. In fact, some of the most beautiful and heartwarming photos come from the unexpected, unscripted moments – the playful tickle fights, the whispered secrets, or even the silly faces. My approach is all about documenting your family's real interactions and emotions. Embrace the chaos, the laughter, and the little imperfections – they're what make your family truly yours!

 

Where do you travel to?

I photograph in all Melbourne suburbs. Because I only photograph during weekends, I find traffic is usually not a problem. If you're planning a session outside of Melbourne (I've photographed in Phillip Island, Rye and the likes!) then I simply add a travel fee. This may be between $50 to $100 based on the distance.

 

Can you recommend any good locations?

 

I can! I have a handful of locations I enjoy using in each direction of Melbourne, but also love hearing your favourite spots as a family to visit - this can really help to create our special moments. When we're chatting, you'll get a questionnaire, and through that I can share locations with you or chat further about our plans.

 

What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?

If the weather is shocking (let's be honest, it's Melbourne so we need to plan for this!) and we have no alternative but to stop or cancel our session that day - I offer flexible follow up dates at no extra charge to you.
